The Prime Minister, who met with Elon Musk earlier this year, expressed confidence that Tesla is interested in acquiring a substantial 2,000 rai (320 hectares) of land for their operations. As Thailand aims to transition a significant portion of its annual vehicle production to EVs by 2030, the government is implementing incentives to attract more investment. The country's proactive measures have already attracted Chinese automakers, and now Tesla's potential entry could mark a significant milestone for Southeast Asia's EV landscape.
