Thais are obsessed with social media… and they love anything that makes them appear to be more sophisticated. So this bridge in the On Nut area of Bangkok has proved a hit with its Parisian-style lampposts. Youngsters can regularly be found on the bridge posing for pictures and videos for their online accounts. The Davis Hotel that looks like Europe and the Green Mile bridge are other popular places that look vaguely like different countries!

Love it or hate it, durian is definitely in demand! That’s why in Thailand the Department of Internal Trade has installed durian vending machines. These machines sell frozen durian, which is a popular way to enjoy the fruit without the strong smell. The vending machines are located in high-traffic areas, such as MRT and BTS train stations and department stores. They are also available in some gas stations and retail stores.

The durian packs are expensive at 100 Baht though!
