A dancer who lost her job during the pandemic has become a hit after showing off her crazy moves while selling French Fries. Thanaporn Mankonkaew had been a backing dancer with Thai pop star singer Lamyai Haitongkam travelling around the country.

But when Covid-19 lockdowns came into force last year, Thanaporn was unable to continue working. To make ends meet, she opened a food stall outside her home in Bangkok, Thailand, and entertained customers with her wacky dance moves.

Single mum Siriarinthorn Phongthanasindetchot, 37, swapped her apron for sparkly dresses and high heels when she opened the hot pot meat cafe in Bang Saen in Chonburi province,

Thailand. Her appearance - complete with cosmetic surgery on her face and blue hair - has drawn criticism for being too showy but has been a hit with loyal customers.

They are now used to seeing Siriarinthorn posing and pouting as she struts among the tables of the busy restaurant, which has boomed from people sharing pictures of her in glamorous outfits.

Siriarinthorn's restaurant is called Doodee Noodles.

She became famous when a dispute broke out over the location where she used to sell her tasty Rotis. Some locals wanted her gone, as she was allegedly blocking the sidewalk. She moved her stall 20 meters further down the street, and everybody seems to be happy now.
