Satun International Kite Festival from 4-6 March 2016 #Thailand
The International Kite festival is being held to promote and preserve Thailand’s traditional kites as well as to strengthen the country’s foreign relations with other nations in Southeast Asia. The festival will showcase many international kites, and there will be compeititions in eight different categories, including Beauty, Creativity, High Flying, Nice Sounds, Marathon, native Kites, Giant and Student’s Kites. There will be over 100 teams from Thailand and thirty different countries participating in this annual event. Some of the countries include Germany, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and the Philippines.
