Worldwide cycling events to celebrate King's birthday




THAIS in 67 countries are expected to participate in the "Bike for Dad" cycling event in December to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the King.

His Majesty, who turns 88 on December 5, is the world's longest-reigning monarch.

HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn came up with the plan to organise cycling events at home and around the world to honour His Majesty.

Thais celebrate 'Bike for Dad' around the globe

Thailand's Crown Prince led 100,000s of cyclists in a “Bike for Dad’ event in Bangkok.

Held to honour HM the King, the celebration took place across the country.

The mass cycling was also celebrated across the globe.

In London, Premier League’s Leicester top scorer Jamie Vardy and teammates participated in the Bike for Dad event.

And the celebration was held across Asia and beyond.
