Biker, 14, attacks rivals, 1 dead
NAKHON RATCHASIMA - A 14-year-old boy was arrested by police on Wednesday for assaulting two other young people on a motorcycle, causing the death of one of them and injuring the other.
Police said the incident in Nakhon Ratchasima's Muang district on Sunday night was caught by a closed-circuit television camera.
The young teen, whose name was withheld because he is a minor, told police that he was riding his motorcycle with his 14-year-old girlfriend, who is five months pregnant, after having dinner at a restaurant.
While returning home, he spotted two boys from a rival gang riding another motorcycle. He decided to follow them and later kicked their motorcycle, the 14-year-old confessed.
The two boys, both 15, fell from the motorbike. One boy died when his head smashed into the pavement while the other was injured.
Police said the 14-year-old assailtant was charged with assault causing death and had been sent to the Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

Kanchanaburi protest against undisciplined school
KANCHANABURI - Local residents staged a protest on Wednesday against a high school they complain is allowing its students to drink alcohol and steal from people in their district.
Pasit Chawala, a village chief in tambon Chorakhe Phueak in Dan Makham Tia district, said residents were fed up with the school, under the administration of the director of Makham Tia Wittayakom high school, for allowing about 500 of its male and female students to cause trouble in their communities.
The problem has been growing for around two years, he said, adding that students steal from local homes.
Originally the school, in the grounds of a Buddhist temple, promoted education and moral principles, requiring students to wear white clothes to classes.
However, its current director apparently believed that good people could not survive in today's society and allows the students to do whatever they want, the village headman said.
As a result, they have been seen drinking alcohol and committing petty crimes in local communities.
Many students who believe in good behaviour had even been physically abused and forced to leave the school.
Moreover, the school's faculty and teaching materials were not up to standard and its curriculum poorly planned and uncoordinated. The teachers themselves also display unbecoming behaviour, Mr Pasit said.
The protesting villagers plan to file a complaint with the Education Ministry, asking that it address the problem, or even relocate the school from the area altogether.

As they rode down a road in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Muang district at night, the gang member whose name is being withheld by the authorities because he’s a minor (old enough to be in a gang, apparently) noticed two 15 year old members of a rival gang riding in front of him.
The 14 year old rode behind them for a while waiting for an opportune moment and when it came, he quickly caught up and kicked their motorcycle into a curb. Resulting high speed crash killed one of the 15 year olds and seriously injured another. Initiation complete – I assume.
You know what happens with the pregnant 14 year old girl after the kid is born? The Thai prick will knock out another ho and this one will be left hanging with a kid on her lap. So she will move to Pattaya and start whoring herself out. Funny thing is – you won’t find a Thai girl in her early teens who wouldn’t have spawned a kid, but they will continue trying to sell themselves as virgins for many years to come. Only in Thailand can you meet a virgin who gave birth to 5 kids.
And of course, once in Pattaya, all she will focus on will be to fool a naive foreigner into believing that she loves him long time, so he can put her on his will or otherwise assign all of his money to her. After that, the man will mysteriously commit suicide by jumping off of a highrise with his hands tied behind his back and duct tape over his mouth. Sad thing about this all is – it’s only a question of time before some naive foreigner does fall for the scam and pays for it with not only his life, but also with all of his family’s savings.
One thing that’s even sadder, however is the fact that the fool of a tool will talk about how friendly Thais are until he can’t talk no more. I’ve seen these idiots who wouldn’t recognize a scammer if he gave them a business card all over the place.
