Two grenades lobbed at rooftop of famous Pratunam foods shop
Two grenades were lobbed at the rooftop of the Khao Mun Kai Ton Pratunam late Friday night.
No one was injured as a bomb detonated before it reached the rooftop while the other failed to detonate.
The attack happened at 11:30 pm.
Police evacuated residents from the shop-house building before bomb disposal experts disposed the bomb by detonating it inside rubber tyres.
Police also took notes of names of all residents in nearby buildings as the grenades were believed to have been thrown down from one of the buildings. http://www.nation...39215.html
Zone 2 Parking Lot at Airport Closed off by Armed Men

The first floor of Zone 2 parking lot at the Suvarnabhumi Airport has been closed off by armed men who arrived at around 4 A.M. this morning. The problem stems from a concession dispute after a new concessionaire won the rights to manage the parking lot, but the previous concessionaire refuses to vacate the premises. Around 40 armed men dressed in black took over the parking lot early this morning and closed it down. Police are on the scene and are reportedly negotiating with the perpetrators.
Airport officials, however, insist that airport services are open for business as usual. Passengers are advised to avoid the Zone 2 parking lot.
Airport Parking Lot Reopens, But Armed Men Still Present

Reports indicate that the Zone 2 parking lot at the Suvarnabhumi Airport has reopened. However, the 40 armed men who reportedly took over the area are still present.
